  • How can I leverage leveraged leverage

The modern world has more “leverage” than anyone could’ve fathomed 100 years ago. Every single choice we make is amplified significantly.

Everything is multiplied by the factor of our technological breakthroughs. Saying one sentence in the presence of peers pre-1970 had very limited impact on you. You may impact your reputation to those people, whoever they tell, and so forth. Now anything you say in a room with a cell phone has the potential to be spread to every corner of the earth, with very little costs.

If you believed that a company would do well pre-1973 in the United States, your best option was to buy shares of it. If you thought a company would do poorly then you would simply not buy it. Options has made it so that if you think a company is going to succeed or fail, you can amplify your losses and gains by hundredfolds.

Writing and printing a book is leverage, coding a website anyone can use for free is leverage, releasing a podcast episode is leveraged. Many are grown accustomed to this era of leverage, and search for even more. Buying stocks on margin is common practice, and obviously the upside is higher, but so is the downside. This evens out, because no rational person would risk pure destitution for wealth, however this leverage is not being offered exclusively to rational people. At 18 you can open a trading account and buy options, with margin, with little capital requirements.

However many have learned to take advantage of this and leverage their good judgement in many ways, there are so many multimedia monsters who make all types of content. The idea of a billionaire is leveraged. Any profession where you can take a day off and make more money then a day when you work 18 hours is leveraged.

    Creation is leverage.
